Philosophy Of Education

The primary purpose of Christian Fellowship School is to fulfill the scriptural commands of:

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” Deuteronomy 6:5-7

Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” Proverbs 22:6

“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:19-20

Christian Fellowship School is an extension of the Christian home in training young people in a Christian environment to reap eternal gains. It is a ministry being offered to the people of God whereby the church and the home become co-laborers in fulfilling the word of God in training children. The school staff works closel with the parents in every aspect to train the whole child.

The goal of our instruction is twofold:

  1. To train children in the ways of the Lord so that they will develop Godly character, and
  2. To train children in the essential academic areas so that they can function as an individual in God’s calling and within their God-given talents and abilities.

These two basic concepts are the focus of CFS whether it is policies, procedures, curriculum or extra curricular activities. It is extremely important to the success of our school for parents and students to support the school in its basic purposes, policies, and procedures.
