About CFS
Our community, state and nation desperately need leaders that possess knowledge, faith and character. Since 1981, Christian Fellowship School has been instilling tomorrow’s leaders with these very attributes through values-based education.
From humble beginnings, CFS has grown to a fully accredited college preparatory school, educating nearly 300 students from preschool through 12th grade. Using a combination of Christian and secular textbooks, CFS integrates an academically challenging curriculum with biblical studies, Christian principles, ethics, and student-led prayer and worship.
Living what we believe
Our teachers, coaches and staff model Christian attitudes and encourage each other to esteem attributes such as humility, honesty, kindness, and excellence. By reinforcing the faith and values students are learning at home, CFS provides a consistent environment for growth.
Private, but inclusive
CFS serves a diversity of students with varying racial and socioeconomic backgrounds. Over 20 percent of the school’s current enrollment receives tuition assistance. Students represent over 40 Christian churches and numerous denominations including Baptist, Lutheran, Disciples of Christ, Evangelical Free, Presbyterian, and Assembly of God.
Outside the classroom
Our academic program is enriched with extracurricular activities, including athletics and fine arts. Every year CFS students win competitions in math, music, and art at the Midwest Academic Meet in Kansas City.
