We are currently taking applications for the following positions at CFS:

Middle School Science Teacher

We are seeking a qualified educator who will contribute to developing our science programs for grades 6 through 8. Responsibilities include teaching science classes and administering extra-curricular science programs. Our goal is to strike a balance of theoretical teaching alongside hands-on experiences. Individuals who are flexible and passionate about building up the next Spirit-filled generation of thinkers should consider this opportunity.

Middle School History Teacher

We are seeking a qualified educator who will contribute to developing our social studies programs for middle school. Responsibilities include teaching History classes for multiple sections of 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. Our goal is to present a Biblical and Kingdom-minded lens to historical events and social phenomena, appropriate for the age group. Individuals who are flexible and passionate about building up the next Spirit-filled generation of scholars should consider this opportunity.

Middle School Math Teacher

We are seeking a qualified educator who will equip our students with essential mathematical skills. Responsibilities include teaching math classes for grades 6 and 7, differentiated for multiple levels of proficiency. Candidates should be able to engage students in meaningful learning through multiple formats, utilizing technology and a variety of resources to reach all learners. Individuals who are flexible and passionate about building up the next Spirit-filled generation of thinkers should consider this opportunity.

High School Soccer Coach

We are seeking a qualified coach to lead our athletes through a successful soccer season. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records related to player participation and player and team performance, planning and supervision of all practices, driving the team to and from competitions, reporting all injuries to the parents and the athletic director, and management of all equipment and uniforms associated with the team. Candidates interested in discipling young athletes should consider applying for this position.

5th Grade Classroom Aide

The Classroom Aide shall assist the classroom teacher in achieving curriculum objectives. The aide shall also model attitudes and behavior expected of a mature, responsible Christian. Responsibilities include both administrative (grading) as well as daily supervision of students.

High School English Teacher (Part Time)

We are seeking a qualified educator who will engage our students in grades 11 and 12 meaningful learning experiences in reading and writing. Aside from covering literature, we also prioritize continued reinforcement of spelling and grammar. Teacher is expected to plan course material and activities that align with Christian values, assess students’ progress, and build trusting relationships with students and parents. Particular preference for candidates who have a Masters in English allowing them to provide Dual Credit through Central Methodist University. Individuals who are flexible and passionate about building up the next Spirit-filled generation of readers and writers should consider this opportunity.
