Physical Education Teacher for Middle School and High School Girls
This part-time teaching position guides two, daily PE classes of middle school and high school girls, respectively. The teacher is responsible for implementing a curriculum which covers basic skills and activities, encouraging physical exercise and health. Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
- Able to effectively communicate with students, parents, and school administration.
- Skilled at organizing physical activities and games and directing students to participate.
- Personally mature, responsible, and dependable.
- Spiritually mature and able to model Christian character and discipleship.
High School Math Teacher (Part-time)
This is a part time position in the CFS Individual Instruction Center (IIC) providing individual or small group instruction to students who are having academic difficulty in the regular classroom. Subjects taught may include Pre-algebra, Algebra, Algebra II, and Geometry. This teacher serves students from 8th to 12th grade and works under the supervision of the lead IIC Teacher. As a Christian school, all faculty and staff at CFS must profess a personal faith in Jesus Christ and model Christian character and discipleship in school, at home, and in the community.
Education and Skills: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a strong aptitude and ability in secondary math. A teaching certificate is preferred, but not required. This teacher must be able to work independently, present different problem solving strategies to students to facilitate comprehension, and connect well with students on a personal level.
Responsibilities: Develop and implement lesson plans for one or a small group of students. Administer assessments, homework assignments, record grades, and communicate with parents, administration, and other staff and faculty as appropriate.
