National Honor Society

National Honor Society

The National Honor Society (NHS®) was founded in 1921 by the National Association of Secondary School Principals and has had as its values:

  • an enthusiasm for scholarship
  • a desire to render service
  • worthy leadership and
  • the development of character

Each year he Christian Fellowship Chapter of the National Honor Society inducts students who demonstrate these value through scholarship, service, leadership and character. Each member of the chapter is responsible for maintaining in their lives the values of the society and are thus required to maintain a specific GPA, to perform a required number of service hours, to lead in both the school and community, and to maintain the highest quality of character. The members of the chapter meet together regularly to plan activities that will promote the values of the Society within our school and our community.

This year’s officers are:

  • President - Max Baker
  • Vice-President - Luke Baxter
  • Secretary - Lauren McDonald
  • Treasurer - Avgustina Arbova
  • Historian - Grace Stotler
