CFS senior, Will Eiffert, was chosen by the “Columbia Business Times” as a member of the “Twenty Under Twenty”: those seniors among Columbia’s high schools who demonstrated exceptional leadership, school involvement, academic dedication, and are positive role models, and overall, well-rounded individuals.

Valedictorians for the 2017 senior class are Ben Davis, Will Eiffert and Matthew Stroud.  All three boys finished their high school careers with 4.0 GPA’s.

Libby Brugmann is the recipient of the 2017 First Knight Award

Luke Baxter, a CFS junior, son of Grant and Diana Baxter, has been accepted to attend Missouri Boys State at the University of Central Missouri this coming summer. 

Kate Walter, a CFS junior,  placed 2nd in the DECA State Tournament in Sports and Entertainment Marketing division. She qualified to compete in DECA Nationals in California where she placed 2nd in the nation.

 Congratulations Leam Beaird, CFS Senior and Kenya Gutwein, CFS Junior, for making being selected for Camp True/False! Each year, a select group of high school students dive deeply into the True/False Film Fest and experience a weekend of exciting films, music, art, conversations, and workshops with a diverse crew of exceptional guests and local hosts. Starting a couple months before the festival, the Boot Camp convenes to prepare for the fest, discuss relevant issues, share research, and plot their course. The Boot Camp brings students with varying interests insider access the fest.
